Catherine Cowan Campbell

Married 51 years Celebrating in June 2021. Have 2 wonderful children - one transferred to heaven too early. Have lived in HI, OK, AR, and currently living in
TX.
Have had various Executive Nursing (DON/CNO) roles in acute care and Hospital CEO.
Also, a Healthcare consultant, including regional Case Management over-site.
Currently, College Nursing Faculty and online adjunct faculty.

For some reason I decided to drag my education over several years - 49 years. I guess I couldn't decide what I wanted to do when I grow up - LOL
I completed my LPN early on, RN in 1982, BSN 1986, MBA in 2000, and my MSN in 2013. I have certifications in Healthcare Compliance, certified Case Manager, and a Fellow in American College of Healthcare Executives. Earning my doctorate is still a potential, but need to make up my mind soon.

My volunteer activities include North TX Public Policy Advocate for AARP, BOD for Case Management Society of America (CMSA).I will assume a 3year term as the National CMSA Treasurer in June of this year.

My fondest memories are the many laughs and fun times with closest friends:
Jann Nelson, Jacquie Spence, Diane Holmes, and Sandy Olson. Those friends and times can never be repeated.

Jacquie's disappearance one night is most memorable! Many probably don't know that my older brother bought all the Beek's Pizza. We made one of our after hockey trips to the St. Louis Park restaurant where my brother always treated. When leaving -very icy, all of a sudden Jacquie was gone. She was under the car. We laughed many times about that!

My teacher memory was with Mr. Turk. During class, in front of everyone, he asked how many Hockey games i had been to - never missed a game after that for fear of more embarrassment.
